Reimagine College — Volunteer

Learn. Serve. Make a difference.

Reimagine College, an initiative of Community Activations Network (CAN), brings students, faculty, staff, and business partners together to give back to the communities our campuses serve.

From supporting literacy by reading to grade schoolers, to volunteering with local nonprofits, or helping with campus activities, there are many ways to make a difference. Participants can share their talents through mentoring, career conversations, community events, and service projects that respond to local needs.

Our upcoming volunteer platform will make it easier to record service hours, receive campus verification, and see the impact we’re making together. Every hour represents someone showing up, sharing what they know, or lending a hand.

Bring your time. Share your talents. Make a difference where you live and learn.

For some participants, qualifying volunteer service may help fulfill public-benefit work or community-engagement requirements. [Learn about the Medicaid requirements established under Section 71119 of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act](https://www.medicaid.gov/resources-for-states/working-families-tax-cut-legislation/community-engagement), including qualifying activities, education options, and exemptions. Participants should confirm their individual requirements and acceptable documentation with the agency administering their benefits.
