Community Activations Network (CAN) is a nonprofit workforce and education membership organization built around a simple idea: education works best when schools, employers, workforce organizations, healthcare professionals, trade leaders, and communities are connected around real opportunities.

CAN develops partnerships that help people enter training, complete their education, and move into careers while helping employers build the skilled workforce they need.

Our work goes beyond creating programs. We build the relationships and infrastructure that make those programs sustainable.

Through employer-driven apprenticeship, student scholarships and persistence support, professional education, clinical-partnership development, OJT-trade experiences, and community activation, CAN helps participating colleges and employers turn workforce needs into practical education and career pathways.

Our Vision

We believe education should not operate in isolation from the workforce it serves.

CAN's long-term vision is to create a national network in which employers, educators, clinicians, tradespeople, and communities work together to develop talent rather than compete for an increasingly limited supply.
